Booking Terms and Conditions
(These conditions form the basis of your contract )
- The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking. Your booking is made as a consumer and you agree that no liability can be accepted by the owner for any expenses, costs, losses, claims or other sums of any description which relate to any business, howsoever suffered or incurred by you. When you receive a written confirmation it signifies that we have entered into a contract with you, which is subject to these Conditions. When you receive your confirmation, the details must be checked carefully. If anything is not correct, you should tell us immediately.
- If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not the final balance has been paid, then unless the cottage is re-let the holidaymaker will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. If the property is re-let all monies paid excluding an administration fee of £50 will be refunded or if not paid will be cancelled by credit note. If, after the issue of a booking confirmation you wish to change the dates of your holiday, then you will be liable to pay a re-arrangement fee of £25 per week booked, any such re-arrangement being subject to availability. It is not possible to re-arrange your holiday less than 8 weeks before it is due to commence.
- When you book your property you will be sent an invoice and a booking confirmation. You should pay the amount then due by sending a cheque together with a completed booking confirmation form to the owners within 7 days. Payment of the balance of the total cost is due 8 weeks before the date on which the holiday is to commence. If any payment is not honoured for any reason, we will make an additional administration charge of £10.
- The holiday maker undertakes to keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertakes to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The refundable bond will be refunded within 7 days of departure provided there are no damages, breakages or missing items.
- The number of persons using the property is not to exceed the maximum number stated in the brochure or website. All pets are charged at £20 per break or week and must be paid for with the final balance. The rules for pet owners are clearly displayed in the properties and any dereliction will be charged for.
- You can arrive at your property after 16.00 hours on the start date of your holiday rental and must leave by 10.00 hours on the last day. Please give approximate time of arrival on booking confirmation form. If you fail to arrive by 12 noon on the day after the start date of your holiday rental and you do not advise us, then your booking will be treated as having been cancelled by you. No refund of any monies paid by you will be made in this situation.
- All details provided in the brochure and website is subject to change. There may be small differences between the actual property and its description as we are always seeking to improve services and facilities. As we live on the Estate we are always available to fix any problems that may occur. However there may be occasions when certain facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance every effort will be made to restore the facilities as soon as soon as possible.
- The Owners shall have no liability for any death or personal injury unless; it results from the Owners negligence. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability is accepted by the owner in respect of damage to, or loss of, such personal property except, in the case of loss or damage caused by the owner’s negligence.
- If for any reason your booked holiday accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute alternative accommodation at no extra cost. Every effort will be made to find alternative accommodation for you. You will be notified of the proposed change and if this is not acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid. No compensation, expenses, costs or other sums of any description will be payable in such circumstances to you.
