We do get some snow, but we are prepared for it. My "big boy's toy" is a snow blower - a sort of cross between a rotovator and a lawn mower! It will go through a snow drift about 2 foot deep, throwing the snow to the side.

Very pretty icicles formed on the trees

Ashgill Force is a lovely waterfall that you can walk behind. In the winter, with icicles and snow, it is even better.

Walking down to Ashgill Force is not easy in deep snow !
